The ¡Viva Carpool! Challenge is here, and it’s your chance to win one of eight $50 gift cards just by carpooling. Throughout the month of April, we invite you to carpool as your mode of transportation. Carpooling is not only more fun, but it reduces the number of cars on the road, easing traffic and improving air quality for everyone. Plus, carpooling saves you and the people you carpool with money on gas and the hassle of parking.

Throughout April, simply ride together and log your carpool trips in the Alamo Commutes app or website for your chance to win. Every trip you log is another shot at winning, so the more you carpool, the higher your chances!

Participants can also earn an Alamo Commutes Fiesta medal which celebrates carpooling with the message, “Ride Together, Fiesta Together," while supplies last. Carpooling is a smart transportation option when you are spending time with friends or family – like during Fiesta!

Log in or sign up for Alamo Commutes for free to participate and follow us on Facebook and Instagram at @alamocommutes to stay up to date.

Step 1

Become an Alamo Commutes member by downloading the Alamo Commutes app or visiting the website to create a profile and begin recording your carpool trips. To be eligible, make sure that you’ve included an updated email address as well as your employer or where you go to school.

Step 2

After setting up your Alamo Commutes profile, go to “Trips” and select “Record a Trip.” Choose “New Trip” and pick your mode (carpooling). Watch for weekly themes! You can also sync with Strava or FitBit to track trips automatically. On the mobile app, go to “Trips” and select your syncing option, then log in and agree to share data.

Step 3

Once you’ve started recording your trips, you’re done! The more carpool trips you record, the greater your chances of winning. However, you can record any mode trip during the month as well. Make sure to check your email, both main inbox and spam, once the month is over to see if you have won.
